Our Story
From sketch to life.
Since 1947, Modern Furniture Mart has been a trusted name in Tanzania, delivering furniture that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation. From classic hardwood designs to modern MDF work, we build furniture that stands the test of time.
Today we pair that heritage with new materials. MDF and imported boards and panels give us exceptional freedom in design, while premium Tanzanian hardwoods keep the character our name was built on. Every piece is custom-made to international standards.
MFM is family-owned and has served Tanzania for four generations. That depth gives us a close understanding of the local market, the climate our furniture lives in, and the people we build for.
